Meet Joan
Joan Cherian is a registered physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). She completed both her Bachelor's of Science degree and her Master’s in Physiotherapy degree at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia.
Growing up, her love for tennis sparked a lifelong passion for exercise and movement, which led to a rewarding career as a personal trainer before transitioning to physiotherapy. Joan is dedicated to helping others improve their physical health and achieve their personal goals.
Joan takes an individualized approach to care, integrating dry needling, manual therapy, and soft tissue techniques with education and exercise to help clients move better and feel their best. She strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where clients feel empowered throughout their recovery journey. Joan works with a variety of patient populations such as orthopedic injuries, pelvic floor physiotherapy, and rehab for athletes. She looks forward to helping you achieve your health and movement goals!
In her free time, she enjoys weightlifting, hiking, playing tennis, and painting.
